The Real Boar Company is now able to provide you with an All English Charcuterie Range reared and made in the Cotswolds and South West.

Our wild boar salamis are made locally and sold to delis, restaurants and hotels all around the country. They make fantastic unusual presents which have a good shelf life (they are vacuum packed which will keep them for up to 6 months and then when opened if kept correctly they will last a fair bit longer.

‘Great British salami to compete with the worlds finest!’ and with two out of two awards won, (one of which was for Best Cured Meat), who is to argue? We make this from black skinned pigs, Gloucester Old Spots and our lovely Oxford Sandy & Blacks; all good natured, old fashioned breeds whose flavour is well, just right!

Milk Powder – Please be aware that a very small amount of milk powder is used to difuse the spices in our salamis.

Alcohol – This is used in the making and curing process, one bottle per 28 salamis which is then air dried over a period of 4 to 6 weeks. So unfortunately most of the alcoholic content has evaporated!

Preservative – We use Sodium Nitrite and Potassium Nitrate in our curing.

  Salami Knives and Chopping Boards      
         
  All knives are presented wrapped in cellophane on a coloured corrugated cardboard base tied with a striped cotton ribbon.

We can supply smaller or larger bladed knives like this and with a curved blade and shank, please ask for details.
 
  Carbon steel blades are both easier to sharpen than ordinary stainless steel and usually hold an edge longer, but it is vulnerable to rust and stains. These knives require oiling before using for the first time. Over time; a carbon-steel knife will normally acquire a dark patina, and can rust or corrode if not cared for properly by cleaning and lubricating the blade after use.

Salami, boards and knives are couriered over night. Delivery costs for 3 or more salami is £10.00 (not including weekends).
Royal mail for 1 x 400g item is £3.50, 2 x 400g is £5.50, 1 x 100g is £1.50.
All sent 2nd Class proof of posting.
